Lately I’ve been thinking of the people who are suffering from wars. This makes my heart ache. I can’t pretend that I don’t see this.
John Lennon, one of my favourite artists from the Beatles, wrote this beautiful song to contribute to world peace. Only peace would lead us to the happiness if we show more love and kindness to others. We’d make the world a better place and full of hope. Hi Peggy, You're bringing back more memories with this song. It was re-released in 1980 and was constantly played after the sad news about John was announced, The whole of Britain appeared to stop for a moment. Many years later I visited the memorial Strawberry Fields in NY to pay my respects.
