Mark, It is beginning to happen, one member at a time. My 2 cousins, parents, brother, 4 uncles, and both my in- laws, all gone. Fortunately, I still have my wife. I'm 69 with a stroke. I can't walk. I use a wheelchair.

Fond memories of childhood christmases and innocence. My parents didn't have much in the beginning but ALWAYS made sure we didn't go without. It's just a pity that after all those years of hearing this song people STILL don't get the message 💔 and the sad irony that a man singing of world peace should be silenced by violence

I had this blaring in my bedroom in 1981 and my mom comes in asking me who it was an I told her and she played it every Christmas after that ° my mom would admit I turned her on to some really cool music being a teen in the late 70s and early 80s made it easy ❤️💚❤️💚 we had little money but we were RICH in all the ways that matter 🙏

I played in a high school Beatles band in 1965, in South Carolina... Complete with Beatles wigs... Can you believe that their hair was considered to be long? My father who had been a professional singer (a big band crooner) back in the forties...hated the Beatles' music...and my band... Years later he admitted that he had been wrong... That the Beatles wrote beautiful music. Thank you John...

This song reminds me when I was a kid and life was just a playground. Loving parents, brother, sister, family and friends. I had it all and still have it all. Even though I have lost lots of friends and family along the way, I love my life.

My fav Christmas song. I was in a relationship with someone I thought was going to be forever. I am 61. Our time ended in mid July. I was shocked. We never fought or argued... We enjoyed each other's company... After a few months after He said goodbye.... I found he married another. This season is very difficult. Merry Christmas everyone! Cherish your time..with people you love. Not everything is forever...

It's funny, I was having a discussion about this song yesterday with my friend while driving around doing Xmas shopping and stuff and I was not aware that John and Yoko actually wrote this song. I thought it was just a really good cover. So now I feel better knowing my favorite Christmas song ever was written by a member of one of my favorite bands ever.
