Immigrants are very few. The world population in 1950 was 2.5 billion with the poorest having no opportunity or means of seeking a better life elsewhere. The population now is nearing 8 billion - it’s no wonder the youth want to live where opportunity abounds and travel is easier and cheaper. It doesn’t mean I accept we should be allowing so high immigration, just that there is no simple solution which racists seem to think could be applied overnight.
