One of the very few superstars to emerge from the fluffy garbage pop music scene of today. Eric Clapton said " he doesn't know how good he really is ". His prowess on guitar and vocals could be described as " oh soooo tasty ".

Tactical x Recon he’s admitted at Stevie Ray Vaughan’s HOF induction that he’s never taken any drug or drink he’s been offered, and he owes it like many to Stevie. It’s simply pure passion for music and guitar

Brandon Look honestly there was only one part that was similar and thats not copying the solo. its just one of the many licks he plays

Damián Neuenschwander no. It’s just the pedal. No swelling.

Probably some boost prior to the Q as well. It responds to attack and signal input quite a bit. Lots of noises available from one setting.

does mayer ever rock'a les paul?
@bonvct6 жыл бұрын
Tsaav Ntsaim ive never seen it. I been going to Mayer shows every year since 2002 and never seem him bust one out. He doesnt exclusively play strats, but Ive never seen him whip out a Les Paul
@IncompleteStranger6 жыл бұрын
He’d used a Gibson Es-335 a lot during the John Mayer Trio days, and a few PRS humbucker guitars like his Super Eagle, but I don’t think he’s ever been known to play Les Pauls, could be wrong though.
