That intro by DRH, the way an acoustic guitar just fills the room and how his voice matches the fullness of the guitar

What guitar were they using?
@kcussrebutuemos48153 жыл бұрын
Who? What guitar? Geez You don’t play or you’d know what a strat is. It’s a Fender 64 real 64 Expensive vintage strat. Research things. What else? Idk what DRH’s acoustic is. Maybe a Gibson acoustic. Who else? Dam can u be more specific. I see 2 guitars. ???? I can’t see Isaiah Sharkey guitar it’s too dark. He uses a bunch of different guitars. Maybe a PRS.

as much as i adore steve jordan, i feel that he plays too straight. he's groovy and in the pocket for sure, but that isnt what this song needs. the way aaron plays it.. goddamnn. a whole new different thing. Steve does the trio thing well, just not this.

The only thing steve is doing differently is adding a double kick each beat, i spoke to him at his London masterclass, he said this is the way it was originally meant to be played on the album.

It's a shame how he is nothing like the singer he used to be, before his operation
@JordansTake356 жыл бұрын
Everyone's afraid to say it but it's sadly true. I saw him pre op 4 times, Post op now 3 times. The difference in his vocal tone control quality it night and day, He was an elite singer too before, with a style all his own. Now he just does his best to make it through his higher register tunes. I'm an absolute super fan.. so no disrespect, just the sad reality.
@tshepophalatsi26616 жыл бұрын
It's true at the minute. The only thing I'm hoping for is that it continues to improve as it has since 2013- one can't really know how long such an operation will take to recover or if it ever will. Let's just hope time is good to him.
