Mellencamp in that 2-minute clip displayed _every_ trait of modern lefties: _#1._ Gets instantly indignant when his rants are challenged. _#2._ Tried to use "tough street" language to intimidate/ threaten the heckler with _"He didn't know him"_ or to _"Meet me afterwards"_ _#3._ Uses HS girl cheerleader popularity logic to get the crowd back on his side. _#4._ Tries to leverage the only power he has threatening the crowd with ending the show. _#5._ After he got some positive reaction/ego-satiating from the crowd who just want to hear some music, and when he had a chance to show some class and fulfil his occupation, that same ego and original indignance(see: #1), overwhelms him and he abruptly ends the show/chooses to punish everybody anyhow. These people _cannot_ be trusted, folks. Putting _any_ sort of power in their hands in _any_ venue social, economic or political, will _inevitably_ end up with _YOU_ on the losing end and them going home in their custom Tesla with _your_ money and soul.

It is amazing to see John Mellencamp, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine (Now Rage for the Machine) etc.... ALL of the artists that were all 'pro blue collar' have now turned on the people.
