Lord of the Rings and Fringe actor, John Noble, joined 17 news at Noon to talk about his upcoming appearance at the Bakersfield Comic Con on Nov. 19 & 20 at the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Under rated actor and in my opinion, he was the BEST in Fringe. I just didn't expect to be hit that hard in the heart at the end.

@Zer0Sum I binged it on Netflix and honestly I don't know that I've seen him in anything else. Think I'll do some searching and find some more of his stuff.

I was barely familiar with his face before i watched fringe, but after watching it, i think he is one of the best actors i have ever seen. He really was so damn good in Fringe.

You could spend two years in acting classes and still not match the nuance that John Noble brought to his role in 'Fringe.' With the mere snap of his fingers, he could transform from the court jester to the most pitiable figure. Truly an unsung hero of acting, John has a talent that could outshine many of the top actors today. I absolutely adore John Noble

John's so underrated. His delivery of melancholy and anger is just so uniquely infectious that you couldn't help but to empathize with whatever character he is playing. I just couldn't get enough of it.

Absolutely agree with you about John being underrated. His ability to convey such a wide range of emotions really sets him apart. Every role he takes on is portrayed with an incredible depth that truly makes his characters come alive. It’s not just his melancholy or anger that's impactful-it’s every subtle expression and the sincerity he brings to each performance. He’s a master at making you feel exactly what his character feels, every single time

I requested a cameo from John Noble for a family member who was moving away from their planned 'forever home,' and John's response was exceptionally kind and generous. He spoke far longer than expected, delivering a heartfelt, fun, and disarmingly honest message. John truly acts for the sheer joy of it and remains unburdened by labels like 'movie star' or 'thespian.' He's incredibly warm and approachable, dedicating an astonishing amount of time to everyone he meets. I dare say, he's a rare gem in his field-just a genuinely beautiful human being.

John Noble did such a good job voicing his character. Truly makes it feel both taunting yet fearful yet respectful all at the same time

Me and the missus have just started watching Fringe, into season 2, and John Noble acts everyone else off the screen.

He runs rings around them all. He's a master among the rest, they all do great work but John could merely smirk or frown and its the strongest thing onscreen,
