one of the main things that hit me on conversion, it was the next day actually, was the feeling that I wasnt alone anymore. Big deal? it was, and still is, to me. Another thing that left was that dreaded 'monday to friday' thing...where you hate monday and look forward to friday. Everyday is like friday to me now.

I've gone through four jobs in 13 months. Not because I didn't care for the work but because God seemed to have me in that Job until that business shut down or because if a budget cut. My point is God can use the instability in my jobs to make me rely on Him.

This is true before I was truly saved I went through so many things and they filled a void for a bit but eventually it’d fall out and I’d be hollow once more. I’ve been saved for less than a year now but this past year I’ve really felt Christ not only save me but fill me with his love and peace and joy to share with others and it’s so much better than anything or material I could ever have. Honestly because Jesus is more real than you or I and when you become more like him you almost experience more in life, idk how to explain it but every second of everyday when your on Good terms with God you have this inner peace knowing that your here for a higher purpose. We all have 2 purposes in life I believe, 1. To be saved, serve God, and spread the Gospel. 2. This one is where it’s different for everyone, as for me God may want me to be a police man , or for others maybe a singer, or actor. Regardless Jesus loves us and yes we always keep his righteousness in our mind but never let his wrath/judgement overcome his love for you. If you seek him and open your heart fully to him, he will give you his beautiful fruits and remove all sinful bondage and desires you may have now but you don’t truly want. Sorry this is so long I think the Holy Spirit just has me typing and this is what came out but anyways God bless you all and pray for me and my fam to make it to heaven for eternity anyone reading this please and just send me any prayer requests!:) God bless in Jesus name!:)

When you seek comfort & security by doing religious things (church attendance, preachers, singing, worship, prayer etc.) then you should know you haven't attained the rest (Salvation in Jesus Christ). While watching this, I started looking at something else while continuing to listen to this in the background. I went back to this briefly and realized I was missing out on seeing his body language so I watched part of it again.

To God be the glory! This is what people need to see really and ask themselves 'Do I possess this joy?'. It is beautiful to see this, true God given joy and contentment in Jesus. I pray that all who watch would grow to have a peace, joy and contentment in the Fountain of Living Waters in Jesus name. Amen

He's a pastor of a church, he is in the word and he is sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Piper is not claiming to be perfect, he preaches to himself first.

I love John Piper, wish I could have been a member of his church. Been listening to him since 2009, but this is the first time I heard this part of his preach. I certainly felt convicted by this, which is what I needed to hear. That said, I would like to hear more on gluttony and obesity, as I rarely hear anything on this subject being addressed.

Oh brethren, do not be baited by the enemy, pray for those who curse you and move on. Ignoring fools is the best medicine for their puffed up arrogant, crude, prideful behavior, that goes for all of us. Pray the Lord would have mercy and humble them as He did us. For we were once far off, walking according to the vain imaginations of who we thought God was and justifying each of our behaviors with every blasphemous breath. The burden is truly light 🙏❤️ Knowledge puffs up and leads to arrogance and pride. God is not a liar and He says He resists the proud, but draws near to the humble. And if Danny truly belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, a love offering from the Father to His Son, God will chastise him, not for questioning Dr. Piper's theology, even the Bereans did such and we're praised, but judged for all his arrogance, rudeness, boastfulness, hastiness, harshness and every other area he lacked love, as He will do with us. We are judged according to love. Love is the commandment that is above all else. Jesus told us so. Love God and love your neighbor, all the rest of the commandments hang on this. How did you do in this testing? How about loving your enemies? How did you do? So we have nothing to fret over. We sprinkle seeds of Truth, water and labor in the fields, God gives the increase and all that belongs to Him will come to Him. This made me wanna tear up. Maybe there's hope for me to get Jesus back, yet; and maybe I did NOT COMMIT THE unpardonable sin when I renounced Him. I ave lost hope. Jesus has taken His Spirit from me. I have dreams of abandoned houses, and they look so oppressively abandoned. Because I no long er have Jesus, I am sinking into carnal sin: I exposed myself naked online. to 2 girls that used to beg to see me such, but, back then, I did not need to do it. Now, it comforts me I am desirable to the female, and gets my mind off the pain of losing Jesus. I have been begging forgiveness, but JESUS IS NOT (YET?) taking me back! HE JUST DOES NOT WANT ME ANYMORE, and it is all my damn fault!
