I love listening to these without knowing anything about where they are in the game because it feels like each song tells a story. IMO, this one feels like the song that plays when establishing a protagonist’s current strength. It carries a sense of familiarity and an “I got this” sort of vibe. Really good, 10/10

After listening to this and the song from Cars 2 I can safly say, while yes both songs sound similar it's not the same thing, at the very most I can say it was inspired and at the very least I can say it's a coincidence, but if there's one thing I can say for sure that would be Sonic Omens did not plagiarize from Cars 2.

That’s is what my guess was as well, that is was a huge coincidence, and it’s been out there for a whole year and Disney hasn’t gave a copyright thing, so yeah. And a very cool coincidence at that! I grew up playing cars 2 on my Wii, and I now listen to this and it’s kinda like a song from cars got sonic treatment!

The only similarities I hear are the tempo and some of chosen instruments. I don't hear anything else in common. And it's honestly been kinda driving me insane listening to both songs on repeat trying to hear the plagiarism. Please help.

Glad he remade this track to be a little more original. There's no shame of remixing a song and using it in a game, just have to get credit to the original creator. Still, both this and the old track slap hard. You did a really goo job with this.

It's not an a remix, cover or other co-op product. I was not even never touch about cars games - I never even know it fucking exists. If you ask me to pick one band who influenced me more than other when I worked at this track - it was Blue Stahli. About these "experts", well, they need to go learn what rock is, what instrument basement it's have, what common melodic movements is, which guitar technics is usual for this genre, also as learn basics about notes, accords, intervals, dynamics, rhytmics, patterns. I've never been a console guy, but Halo is a damn cool series and it's the reason why at Omens's train level you can even hear a line from AI named... Cortana! But speaking of music, Halo, especially the older games had old-wibe kick-ass rock themes, which is not too far from Area 99.
