That is super awesome! I would leave the lid off so I could watch it as well as hear it better. :) - Heidi

BlackCat2 I beleive the lid is to minimize debris in the water, evaporation, and scaring the animal from drinking. But John would know better than I. I would like one for our front water feature. Currently it's set up as a spout in a 5 ft high by 3 ft wide above ground glazed clay vessel The spout sounds nice but the splashing is a big waste of water. A quad bowl like this would keep the splashing under the quad bowls. Where could one order such a beautiful scriptural artists piece? We are in the Seattle Metro area. Thank you.

Hi Cameron, I make them from cement, each one is hand crafted (except for the animal drinking trough which has a mold) so getting one to you would be near impossible. Mind you, if you'd like to shout me a trip to Seattle I'll make one for you in situe and show you how it's all done with green sand molding and profile cutting.... :-)

This is one of the most genius invention I have seen in a long time. What drove you to come up with the idea and how long does it take before you have to change the water? Also I love your work. I just watched a bunch of your stained glass videos and I learned so much. I just wanted to thank you for being an amazing human being.

Morning Victoria..... I invented these in an effort to improve water quality for the use in a water fuel cell called "The Joe Cell" I played with many dish shapes and configurations and now know which elements are needed to be present in order to manifest the meandering oscillations I'm preferring.

karalnz, thats really cool. they seem to be a god way to make the most of your water. have you ever tryed them as duck watering bowls? i know this is kind of a random question but i have ducks and know how fast they can muck up there water. i was thinking this could be a good way to use less water by not having to clean there dishes out all the time.

Hi Victoria, ahhhhh ducks.... yes very messy critters. We have geese and they have learnt where the drinking trough is so, of course they frequent it when I've left the house gate open. I've found that to stop them from "mucking up" the water the trough has to be away from any source of dirt / mud, cos we know how they love to shuffle in the ground.

jackie rivera if you look at Bryan Carr's mean comment, you can view the replies and read how he got his hands that way. I also think his projects are cool.

Do some google search on "Thalidomide" It's a Nazi developed neuro-toxin described as medicine and dolled out to pregnant women for the sake of unbridled greed and profits.
