In this clip, Vlad started off speaking about an unreleased interview of Kobe attacking Shaq that recently surfaced, and John acknowledged that he knows about the interview. John then spoke about Jim Gray, the journalist who conducted the interview, and John stated that he’s a legit journalist. Vlad then spoke about the article where Kobe tore into Shaq, including Kobe calling him “fat” and “lazy.” Vlad added that the article was never released because of Shaq’s relationship with Gray, and John pointed out that Shaq went to Miami afterward. John then spoke about Kobe being obsessive about basketball, and John also pointed out that after the article was released, Shaq came out in the best shape with the Heat.

Sometimes, criticism is the biggest motivator because the truth really hurts. A lot of times people won't change until they are presented with the truth. Yeah, he really is. I met him at a basketball camp. I was extremely good a basketball but I despised the school system so much that I didn't do what I had to. At the basketball camp he pulled me aside and talked w me for over a hr on some looking out for a 10th grader. I'll always appreciate that. He told me to reach out and I never did.

I played tennis against Pete Rose’s son here in Phoenix, Az in the mid-90’s(1995). Pete was there watching his son play. It was a tournament we played in. My bro’s where there and a lot of my friends are clowns and they were deciding if they should go over to Pete and ask him if he wanted to put some money on the game. They didn’t do it,I would of thought that it would of been hilarious if they did. I would not of been mad. I beat him in the match but his son was a good player and a good sport. Nice kid.

Rip to Kobe but people tend to forget how much of a prick young Kobe was. He wasn't the most likeable dude for atleast half his career. And it wasn't just Shaq. But Shaq had more legit reasons not to like him. It became personal.
