After having Pete for so many years with all his energy, it's hard not to notice that Mike is much more calm and even keeled. I'm not 100% sure which is better, but it's definitely a noticeable difference. I hope as he grows with the team, he does open up more.

I like the calm. John still uses words like “jacked”, “cool” , “awesome” to channel Pete. John and McD seem to have great camaraderie, mutual respect and flow. Go Hawks!

I don't know, after watching 7 seasons of not having a playoff win and hearing the same line from Pete Carroll with only a worsening performance, I welcome this change. If he sucks he sucks. Regardless, go hawks!

Love mike’s calm and collected self. I really like the emphasis on learning on every level of our organization. I‘m expecting a slower start but can‘t wait to see the progress throughout the season

Depends what you mean by "start." Because I don't think the team can get much slower of a start than the opener against the Rams last year. That was as slow as molasses, and a horrible display of football, especially on defense.

John finally gets to do things his way and spread his wings, I'm excited for coach MacDonald but he seems to still have his training wheels on. I'm predicting some growing pains this upcoming season but I feel like coach is a fast learner and he will have a successful 2025-2026 season

@@johnrobinson7666 nothing, I think he interviews very well actually, but as a first time head coach everything is going to be a first for him. He's learning from one of the best GMs in the game right now so I'm confident he will be a great head coach in the coming years but to say he's going to be great right off the get go is just being arrogant. Too many times under Pete, after a loss, Pete would often say they weren't prepared. I don't see that being the case with thus staff and it's not just the HC. The coordinators and position coaches Pete had the past several years never gave me any confidence. I hope that we don't see any more of that and I don't expect it to be that way.

Geno declined because of an injured offensive line in 2023. When he had rookie tackles in 2022 that were healthy he put up top 10 numbers. I like Sam but do you think Sam is saving more games than losing compared to Geno?

You are absolutely delusional. Geno is a top 10 QB in this league, let down by bottom 3 OLine riddled with injuries last year, poor playcalling on third down and the red zone, and a bottom 5 defense. Our defense lost us way too many games last year. You just outed yourself as a casual who didn't watch a single game last year.

What a waste of an interview. Dave and Bob have no focus , no follow up. It’s the first interview with JS after the draft and they barely asked about it and when they did there was no follow up. They should have went selection by selection and asked why they weren’t able to trade up. Then there was MM who said they don’t have their program installed? What? Why not? It’s been two months plus and he doesn’t know what program he’s going to install? Clearly Dave and Salk take direction from Seahawks PR to keep it light. Today was dust

Teams too good for that. Way underperformed last year and went 9-8. I think it will depend more on how long it takes to iron out wrinkles then the players themselves. Not sure why you all think Geno sucks. He took the team to 9-8 despite everything else breaking down. What happened last year was not on Geno.
