Plz John we voted for Western Cape since NomaIndiya drop the ball together with others,plz help us on this one thing because there is work/employment in the Western Cape unlike our home town Eastern Cape but some companies employ foreign people an they make sure the company is full of foreign people even the ones fixing our electricity when you have a problem then you call the municipality, here comes a foreign guy to fix my electric box where are the South African who did electricity,where?? You go to Erenvale full of foreign people nowadays,where are those people used to work there,go to Sitari,Chroydon they are all foreign people, I'm not against them but it is not fair and its seems as if they doing it deliberately plz find out about it and do something about it so that we keep the Western Cape for another 30 yrs😂

In my view the position of Minister of Trade and industry is absolutely critical, a non-negotiable for business and trade improvement of SA and importantly Cape Town which relies on the port. Google Cape Town port ranked the worst in the world 2024. A 100% non-negotiable for the DA. The entire country is declining with the highest youth unemployment on earth. 70%. That's over the last 30 years of ANC governance.

The NSFAS debacle is students that are brilliant need to pay back some money to keep the system going. So instead of studying so stupid degree in social sciences, you could study something useful like a proper scientist or a chemical engineer or anything this country needs right now because of the brain drain. You will get gainful employment and it's not hard to ask if from your fantastic salary you can pay back some of the money to help the next person. Nothing is free...

To me, the fact that Ramaphosa is being inaugurated as State President, is more a tribute to his eloquence and political party skullduggery than anything else. @@faithMketo You want to grow wealth for your people? Good. You already have the means to do so. It is called "private property". The concept of private property is very important because it allows you to work and pass on what you have earned to your children. Your children can then do the same for their children. Nobody, not even the government, can legally come and take what you have without fair compensation. Socialist governments will always give themselves the power to take all that you have and give it to someone else using some vague concept of "equality" to justify it. This is incompatible with the concept of private property. Now think of how many of our political parties in SA are openly socialist. There are several, including the ANC. _And they all got a great deal of support from the voters,_ which means a lot of people in this country do NOT understand just how importance private property is when trying to growing wealth.
