Still didn't say who John Wayne hated the most. But, my mom was a huge fan of John Wayne and when it announced he died mom said Dukes Dead! I watched his movies with my husband who also a fan of his.

You app. butchered quite a bit here,fella. To say nothing of not knowing how to pronounce James Arness' name, but at 21:12; when " Fort Apache" was made, Gene Hackman was in the Marine Corps (Okinawa, I believe) and was not discharged until 1951 and did not act until 1956. I don't know, young man.

Hackman and Wayne NEVER acted together. They both did act in movies called Unforgiven, though. Different movies. Different eras. Both great.

Why have you used so many clips of Brian Keith. All those clips of Keith as a soldier's "blue belly" are not germaine to the documentary. Anyone knows the difference between Wayne and Keith. And Hackman disliked Wayne's pompous demeanor. Did not stay with the film.

hollyweird was full of lefties back then?, it's so far left today, it couldn't have been more left back then. Wayne didn't have problems with spending time with his kids, they were on set and in a large number of his movies
