Guests include: Dr. Vivian Robinson, Arnie Benn, Dr. Mayank Drolia, Innes Anderson-Morrison, Michael Mercury, Dr. Stephen Leary, Prof. Garnet Ord, Prof. Peter Rowlands, Prof. Chandra Roychoudhuri, David Williamson, Colin Waddell, and Nicola Graves-Gregory.

A true giant of physics. A true innovator of ideas. A true gentleman, always. A finer man and mind you'll never find. He will be sorely missed.

Was a privilege to be taught by John and to be his PhD student on this work.

I'm very sad I didn't get a chance to talk to John, as I only recently discovered his work and this group. I hope to continue pushing physics forward. RIP John.

I'm very sad to hear John has left us. He was in my opinion the greatest physicist of our time, and very inspiring to listen to. I had the honour to write with John a little bit, and he was always happy to explain details and help in my understanding. He will be missed.

I was so sad to hear of his passing, he was a great lecturer and human being. I feel privileged to have been taught by him during my undergrad. The world of physics has lost a great mind.

I remember him running across the lecture theatre shouting "I'm an electron" too! 😊

I love the memories shared here. I have similar of John, where we went deep into 2D electron gases and other confined states of matter together, which is our common research. He made it easy to see a phenomenon from many perspectives at once. For example, it is natural to see a fluid-like real space-time of changes, but also totally imaginable to experience its inverse: a more solid-like inverse space-time where persistence is in focus instead. This simultaneous fluidity and solidity aspects are both key to understanding physics now-here. Especially when we talk solutions like those Thad Roberts found. There are more perspectives just there: with the other time orientations and directions in 4D essential to matter and dark energy, and anti-matter/anti-dark-energy. Wish we could have continued were we left off on that. And I regret that I did not help out more, for example on math and simulation tools, and generally being more present. Life is not easy on thinkers and tinkerers but we need to stick it out together, like here on Quicycle. Thank you John.

I think JGW never ever mentioned aether, nor praether. Pity.

All is photons. Except for gravity. And except for radio (radio is em pulses not photons). And except of course for aether. But photons are not sub-quantum, aether is sub-quantum. Conrad Ranzan adds to JGW's stuff.
