Holy Shit, When we raced Top Sportsman & They turned over the fast guys to Pro Mod in IHRA, Door Cars had just broke into 6s & Alcohol FCs were in low 6s..Fast forward less than 3 decades & Door Cars are in 5:40s & Frankie Taylor's been in 5:40s w/a Blown Car for Yrs already..How long before there knocking on The 4sec Zone? Probaby in My Lifetime tho..I have Vanishing Point Blown Pro Mod w/a KB Olds, 14 degree heads, 14:71 Kobelco w/a Big Carbon Hat & 3spd Lenco And Now Im lucky to make Top Sportsman field lol..We're in a World Now where id be better off with Automatic Trans over 3disk clutch because things have got That Good But there also That Expensive! Im just sitting here thinking how Fast Cars have got & How popular Drag Racing had become in last bunch of yrs, Im sure thats what has fueled things to move at this unreal pace forward..To have sevaral cars now in 5:40s means by next yr somehow cars will be in the 20s & by 2025 they'll be knocking on the 4 Zones Door..Just amazing how this has gone, Wish I had the money to play cars but the expense has just gotten out of hand So Ill be watching the fast cars from stands....

not a big deal to break the doorslammer world record when the definition of door slammer is beyond ridiculous John force should cut a hole in the side of his funny car and put hinges and a latch....bam door slammer even faster stick some lights on his funny car and....bam fastest street car
