Ha! After watching this, I really took my pointed eyebrow tweezers to the crevices of my one cristate Echeveria, “Golden Maria” today! Extremely satisfying to get rid of the old and dead stuff. I suppose I was nervous about damaging the plant before. Thanks for giving me confidence. In the process, a couple of fat lurking Mealy Bugs had their atoms returned to the great cycle of the universe.

Ah Carol, the power of tweezers is a remarkable thing. A good clean out makes a lot of things look better..... You can get long bonsai tweezers as well, excellent for plants,.......

That was a truly beautiful video to watch, I feel privileged just to see so many different crests lol. The are like unicorns just so unique and I absolutely adore them. I have a few now in my collection, some I've grown myself others I've stumbled across with much delight at a local nursery or from a local grower. I'm going to find your propagation video now because I have a crested echeveria topsy turvy but it hasn't put down roots yet so I'm hoping to learn alot for your next video thank you all very much for such fantastic videos 😁👏👏👏💯😁

Wow ! Love all your crests ! They’re my favorite! I’m loving your videos. I’m subscribing right now . The brilliant red Echeveria Chocolate is to DIE for ! So glad to know the name . You’re so right about the dead leaves . And if you get pests , they’re harder to treat . Any tips on treating spider mites and Mealybugs in crests ? I’ve had quite a time with both pests . Killed my favorite crested Fred Ives treating for mites . I was devastated . Thanks for another great video 😊

@seanathanbeanathan
@seanathanbeanathan Жыл бұрын
Don't mist a succulent. Wait until the leaves aren't firm and soak them until water runs out or bottom water. Most important things for succulents are a well draining soil mix and a pot with proper drainage.

Fantastic! I believed that the crest form only can get from leaves, but I have a truck of beheaded Perle Von N. where was growing a new crest plant because there was a little space between the truck and one leaf (before, on the top of this leaf borned another plant): a few of heads and only one (central head) was normal. I took pictures ( I could send you if you want to see them) so now I know the reason of cresting form is not a virus or bacteria or not only these. It's very interesting: of my ten diferent propagated leaves, four new plant are crest. Regards.

Hello Johnny. Great! I live in Seville (Spain), not so far 😂. I can email 3 pictures and I hope I can explain well what I want to say: 1. When the new plant was growning between the thunk and the leaf. 2) When I cut the leaf to promote growth of the new plant. 3) the truck when I cut the new plant because there is another baby echeveria down (a little part remains attached to the trunk because I ripped it so I think it is going to grow too). I am sure that when you will see the picture you will understand me perfectly. Sorry, my english is not perfect 😂! Your videos are very interesting and the echeverias are amazing. Thanks for share knowledge and beauty.
