@@capowable read the above comment, he gave his ring to Steve Price. JT sat on the bench in 04 grand final because Price tore his MCL the week out from the grand final. Price, a premier forward in the peak of his career did everything right all season to get them to the GF so it was crazy that Thurston a 21 year old rookie got the ring. The coach ended up giving JT his ring from 04 in the end anyway so everyone got one.

I know it's funny as fuck sometimes, like in this instance, but damn I hate when it gets joked about that a player hasn't won premiership. Like you know players work their entire lives to win just one and to see someone laugh at that.....You know it crushes them. I'm a Storm fan, but to think that our bookies and management at the time robbed Hindy and those Eels boys of that feeling of winning a Premiership....It does not sit well.
