Hi, Used to coastal skiing where temps 0 to -10C. Below wear: we light wear cotton long johns, medium track pants, and then a medium/light wind-water proof snow pant. Socks are medium thick dense knit wool sock. Above: light merino wool long sleeve under shirt, medium sweater (wool or fleece), duck down vest or a fleece liner, and then a light wind-water proof jacket. Head: tuque or helmet. I've never skied in colder than -10C... Question: what do you folks wear in the really cold weather? What would your outer jacket be for temperatures in the -20 to -30C in the Rockies during the dead of Winter? If you wear a ski mask, are there things one should consider? Are mits better than gloves? thanks

Just FYI, that Purl wax is their all temp/universal, the purple bar. Blue is their cold, green is their super cold (for like icy conditions), yellow is their warm, and black is of course graphite. 👍 #ecowax #andprettyfasttoo 🏁

Steve Okay that’s a great question!! My hoods don’t fit over my helmet but if your hood dies than it will work for that double face mask!!
