😂 they have the right to ask a cop why exactly did a cop stop them. It's good to know what you can say and do when a cop detains you without valid reason, such as you can deny giving them your license and registration if they do not give you a reason as to why you are being stopped.

You know they have several ways that they can estimate your speed. They don't need to "clock" you doing anything. Their cop cars have this really cool thing called a speedometer. It was designed to tell them how fast they are going. Also, they can estimate speed based on the amount of distance you cover over a period of time. Finally, you don't know if that patrol car is equipped with a camera. But sure, go ahead and argue with the police. When it's better to just be respectful, hire a lawyer, and fight it in court. 2006 I was caught for street racing. I received 4 tickets and $2K in fines. I hired a lawyer. The fine was reduced to $200 bucks, zero points, and probationary period on my license for 6 months.

You go over a certain speed is considered felony speed. So it turns into a felony stop which requires gunpoint and more cops showing up with guns
