Embroider ANY Design on Terry Cloth Towels - Embroidery Beginners Tutorial

Tired of trying to stitch out your favorite embroidery designs onto a terry cloth towel only to lose tons of detail into the knap of the towel? In this video, John shows you how easily you can convert these designs using the "hatch smash" stitch, otherwise known as the knockdown stitch.

Thank again John, does it matter what the stitch angle is used for the hatch smash ? I notice its 15° when I create mines...

Looks great! Do you still use a water soluble stabilizer on top of the terry when using the "Hatch Smash"?

William VanGundy you could probably get away without but personally I do just to ensure better quality.

Wow. This was amazing! Doubt my programs will do this. Lol. BTW, I bought something you offered (several months ago), a “club” of some kind? Don’t know but I never heard from you. It was $79.00. Forgive me for questioning you here but IDK who or how to contact someone to figure this out. Thanks.
