Thanks for the how to video and then this 1 showing how they work. I bought a 23 850. And was trying to figure out a way do it without having snorkels up front

Wow, I didn’t realize how much water those things could make it through! That looks like a ball! I bet it took you hours to get them back to John Franco level of clean! Thanks for sharing, DC

Dan normally in stock form they would never be able to go that deep but adding those snorkels really make them alot more versatile and fun machine to drive now.

@@JohnFrancoNH I had the stealth rizer snorkel system on my 2018 850 SP Camo where it runs up to the headlight pod, and I still couldn't go in water anywhere near the seat or the belt would slip terrrrrrrrribly bad. I had it looked at by a 'professional' who installed it multiple times but it would do it every time like it was stock. It's RIDICULOUS that they made the air intake so low on these newer Polaris machines. My old 2004 Sportsman 500 and 700 as well as my 2008 Sportsman 500 could go DEEEEEP with no issues. Anyway my 2018 850 spent so much time in the shop and i couldn't go through basic swamp/creek crossings without so much BS and slipping that I just sold it and went with the Grizzly 700. I can go extremely deep without a snorkel and don't have to worry about it anymore. Ditto with my Rubicon 520.

Any issues with water coming in through the front vent into the belt exhaust? Assuming where it’s exhaust it would have to be underwater for a bit to have an issue?
