First five minutes of this is already better than the last decade of professional wrestling.

@@jakeinator722 What else is there? AEW? It's like WWE but with no real talent. TNA? Same as AEW. Gymnasts pretending to be wrestlers.

@Sarah Dunworth I concur! Conrad often grates on my last nerve in his podcasts, but Eric never fails to both entertain and inform me. :-)

Bischoff was an absolute heel during his Raw GM run. When he came back to RAW a few years ago with a massive pop, man just showed how much impact he did after all those years
@robertgillen9792 жыл бұрын
I've listened to alot of Bischoff shoots. This one is an instant classic. Great chemistry. You better not let Conrad run you to off the podcast world.

I think It's cause he was so good at playing a douche bag people thought he actually was
@RobwLPOC2 жыл бұрын
@@NeonKC he is spending most of his retirement now doing fundraising and working for Charities helping kids play rugby or get into sports and stay off the street and out of gangs with very good success. He he is a loud Brash Texan who is politically correct and likes to bust balls. The thing about ballbusting is the only do it to people you actually like you don't waste your time choking around with somebody if you hate them. With the safespace trigger warning culture that has developed, I can definitely understand why some younger guys did not get what was going on and thought he was legitimate intending to insult them. Look up Barbershop scene from the movie Gran Torino and you'll see what I mean

25 years later and the Monday night wars rage on.
@jiovanna41362 жыл бұрын
Yes it was the greatest time in pro wrestling...such a fun time to be a fan and to witness the (Monday Night Wars) I was 15 years old and I Just started my freshman year in High School when it all started in 1996, when Kevin Nash & Scott Hall jumped to WCW and the NWO was created, and by the time the Attitude Era started, I was a Junior in High School in 1998 and I graduated High School in 1999 at the peak of the Attitude Era at 18 years old....what a fun ride that was and I am so honored and fortunate enough to watch greatness and the most exciting time in pro wrestling. When people a wrestling fan was hip thing and I was pro wrestling merchandise everywhere, Pro wrestling was on late night talk shows, afternoon talk shows, Morninf talk shows, SNL, MTV, VH1, MAdTV, they were in commercials, music videos, game shows...I remember watching a promo feud between The Rock & Stone Cold on MTV TRL, talking about there next Pay-per-view against eachother, They were on A very popular MTV show called (Celebrity Death Match)...pro Wrestling became pop-culture phenomenons...and for a few years People weren't ashamed to admit they loved pro wrestling...you had kids using the pro wrestling hand signatures at schools...my grandmother would watch all the time. I wish we can all re-live it all again...now you have Social Media and to many people know too much about the pro wrestling business, they have KZfaq channels acting like Dirt sheets and all they do is spoil everything...you have so many know it all's now, and when you know way to much and you worry to much about the in's and out's of pro wrestling...like who got fired, who took a shit, who bullied this person....shit with the cancel Culture and the SJW nowadays, and what they call, all The crazy Smart Marks....it's unbearable to enjoy it now. Back then we didn't have to worry about that, we only watched to have fun, we cheered for our favorites and only cared if they won, we only got invested in storylines, we weren't "woke" we didn't complain about hot chicks on television, we wanted to see beautiful people...we didn't care if they can wrestle or not. We had fun and couldn't wait to tune in the next week...I didn't even know anything about dirtsheets and can careless what they thought...causel fans watched in record numbers....We watched without knowing to much, you can't enjoy it when you know to much...back then they had a little bit of everything for everyone. It was truly a special time, we will never see the likes those Amazing years again...we definitely will never see ratings like that again that's for sure. I got to be a child and a kid during the WWE's first Golden Era in the Rock "N" Wrestling Era 85-90 and I got to be a teenager in High School when pro wrestling was at it's peak and music was at it's best...and I turned 20 year's old when the Monday Night Wars finally ended in 2001...got enjoy my early 20's during the Ruthless Aggression Era. In the words of one of the most underrated ECW Tag Teams (Public Enemy)..."yAddy Di da Di" it was a great party. (1996-2001)

WWF / WWE (George Bush) vs. WCW+nWo / NWA (Bill Clinton) (the Monday Night Wars) and of course, the Third (Independent) Party, in South Philly (Ross Perot) = ECW (Barbed Wire City; the world's famous Bingo Hall / Viking Hall). Vince McMahon (the "New York" territory = WWE) vs. Eric Bischoff (WCW) vs. Paul Heyman / Paul E. Dangerously (ECW)

Still.a loooong way to go with the care of performers! Especially after there done in the ring! These guys generate billions of dollars these days and need better aftercare later on in life and while they do what they do. 52 weeks a year is way to much on the body.
