If I had a dollar for every review switching between the red and the blue I could buy me a shot of red label in a half decent bar, which is not a lot but somehow substantial

I knew this would happen. This is similar to what happened at my whisky club. JW Red always ranks higher when you don’t know what it is. I challenge all of the JW Red haters to do a blind tasting and see how they get on. Well done Mark for being brave enough to do this.

The red is gasoline and the blue is overrated and overpriced. Enthusiasts are not huge fans overall.

Nup. It's amazing. And it's honestly personal preference. But I can drink Blue neat or on the rocks. Red label no chance.
