the good thing about the 127 hyungs-Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, and probs Jaehyun too-is that they don't take shit, especially from sasaengs. they can be scary and protective when they need to be, but they're basically marshmallows the rest of the time lol.

I believe that for Yuta, members perceived him as scary because he has this mysterious aura around him. If you don't know him enough or even if you know him long enough, you will be afraid to know what will his reaction be when he was being quiet or serious. Remember when Jungwoo was sulky that Yuta didn't do the cute 'lion' thing when the camera was off, and hence Jungwoo did it as much as possible on camera. And also in NCT show when Yuta was being serious on his cooking task, and that made Jungwoo being sulky because it made him not being able to go closer to Yuta. And for Johnny, it was his seniority vibe and his strength that makes everyone respects him. And I believe he has this 'sassy' American things that can hurt your feeling if you don't understand the North American culture. Yes, I am Asian and sometimes I got hurt easily by how blunt my American and European friends when they give comments, though it gets better when I know them more. There are some jokes that can not be translated. Of course it will be different on different personality. And again, I also want to highlight that although members generally think that Taeyong is kind, but there is also some scary side of him, that makes even Yuta got confused: that is when Taeyong changed his mood/persona almost right away in certain occasions, from being cheerful into being moody. And because Yuta and the members love him a lot, they are afraid that those changing mood was caused by them. There are some exceptions, of course:Haechan seems to still try to annoy the 95Ls . Doyoung is just having an eternal battle with Yuta and Taeyong. And Mark just doesn't even bother with the tension, because he rarely caused the trouble. Ah, but we know nothing because we don't live with them. So please take my opinion with a grain of salt

Great video! I haven't ever thought of either of them as scary. When I was first learning about NCT, everything about Johnny said he is the friendliest person. Even I wanted to be his friend and I don't want to be friends with people easily. Yuta has a good bitch face when he's not being the happiest, smiliest person ever but it just made me think he's probably really sassy. I would also hear about Taeyong being scary a lot and I kept wondering what was wrong with people.
