This video should've been called "Johnny being the actual protagonist of Sing for 8 minutes straight". Think about it: he's the first contestant to be introduced, probably has the most character growth aside from Buster, SAVED EVERYONE from near death, and gets even MORE character development in the sequel. Long story short, Johnny is a better protagonist than Buster. I love Buster, don't get me wrong, but Johnny carried the Sing franchise.

I love the fact that when he thought he ran over his dad, he didn’t freak out. He was just like, “Welp my dad is dead because of me.” Like there was no panic in him at all, just a little disbelief really.

Everyone keeps shrugging off this movie as a cash grab musical for people that like these artists but the characters are so beautifully and realistically written!!!! This movie feels like a pilot movie for the sequel that went above and beyond! I hope they greenlight SING 3 so we can see more.

Buster moon pretty much the main character in the film who brought this all together, but I just love Johnny. That his family are like robbers, but he just wanted to sing. And have daddy issues, that they didn't went go will. But in the end, iit was so wholesome.
