When my mom was young in the 1950s, everyone thought she looked like Jane Wyman in Johnny Belinda. I have some old pictures of her, and she really did look like Jane Wyman when she was young.

The movie was filmed in Fort Bragg, California, 1948. Jane Wyman won an Oscar for Best actress.

فيلم دراما رائع وجميل ما يجعل أفلام تلك الحقبة جميلة ورائعة وخالدة هي : جمال القصة ، والسيناريو والحوار ، والأداء الرائع للممثلين في تلك الحقبة . وأنا عندما شاهدت هذا الفيلم لم أتوقع أن أشاهد جمالاً ينافس جمال فاتنة العالم : " مارلين مونرو " إلا في هذه الممثلة الجميلة : " جان ستيرلينغ " . ومع الشهرة الفنية والعالمية السينمائية للساحرة : " مارلين مونرو " عندما طلبت منها فتاة جميلة بأن تحقق لها حلمها وتدخلها مجال الفن والتمثيل معها رفضت ذلك ، وقالت لها : " لو كنت أتمنى أجمل شيء في حياتي ، لكنت تمنيت أن أكون ربة بيت وزوج ، تطبخ وتربي الأولاد ، ولَم أدخل مجال التمثيل قط " . من كتاب : " مكانك تحمدي " .
