Johnny Cash Ring of Fire lyrics
Love is a burning thing
And it makes a firery ring
Bound by wild desire
I fell in to a ring of fire
[Chorus]
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
[Verse 2]
The taste of love is sweet
When hearts like ours meet
I fell for you like a child
Oh, but the fire went wild
[Chorus]
I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
I fell into a burning ring of fire
I went down, down, down
And the flames went higher
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
[Outro]
And it burns, burns, burns
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
The ring of fire
The ring...

June Carter wrote this song. She saved Johnnys life. He was out of control with pills and drinking. He fell hard for her and changed his ways. And with his Faith as well. RIP Cash and Carter

You must be living under the rock, June helped support Johnny's addiction by giving him drugs and alcohol bc June was actually an addict herself, she was nothing but a home wrecker.

@@user-hr7jt6dh4h OMG! That’s mean spirited talking about her like that since they are both gone. Even if it’s true. I don’t know about that but Johnny always said that Junes love for him saved his life and he got clean because of her. So her feeding him drugs contradicts his story. They can’t both be true unless they were both addicts that both quit and got clean. Also, his Faith help him quit drugs and drinking. So now I’m going to have to look into this further. His son or daughter would probably know the truth about what really happened. I hope you’re incorrect. And calling June a Home wrecker? That may be so but Who are you to judge that? It’s just your opinion and you’re entitled to it. But you’re not their Judge. People leave Marriages and change partners all the time! Who’s to say that it’s wrong or right! People follow their desires and don’t care about the consequences. For Example, Jay Lo dropped Marc Anthony with the kids for another guy after he left his wife for her years earlier so what goes around comes around! Love is messy and doesn’t follow rules of imposed morality or mores. Don’t you know that by now? Get Real!

Back in the 50's as most country acts added drummers the Grand Ole Opry still banned them. I read when Carl Perkins played Blue Sweude Shoes at the Opry in 1955 he couldn't use his drummer. What I love is that thumping stand up bass!!

@InventorZahran

@@turnmeondeadman4221At the time, the country music establishment was very racist and wanted to preserve their image of what they considered 'pure white people's music'. Because of their association with jazz and early rock 'n' roll, drums were seen as a raucous instrument of the "negros", and therefore unworthy of being elevated on the Grand Ol' Opry stage. Even as famous country artists began adding drummers to their bands, the Opry's managers still tried to forbid the use of drums in their venue (probably until pressure from artists and fans led them to finally allow drums).
