Johnny Cash said this was one of the best gigs he ever played. He really had a great time and you can tell by how well he played.

Feel privileged to have been in the front row, tbh I had only gone early to be at front for James who were on next but I loved it and am so happy to have seen 'the man in black'

I heard in a documentary his son said he saw a light in his dads eyes he not seen in years. A real pick me up at the time and a legend right there. Appeared in a episode of Columbo too as a murderer "Swang Song" RIP

Man, June sure was a firecracker. I‘m convinced that if she had recovered from that surgery, Johnny might still be with us today. A love larger than life. Johnny, of course, is the undisputed greatest of all time.

First LP of my mum was Live at St. Quentin. In 1994 I went to a huge music store, you could listen to the newest Cds. I found Johnny Cashs "American recordings" and I felt the strength and was back in my childhood, listening to Johnny Cash. Since then I am a huge Johnny Cash fan, though I normally listen to hard rock/metal music. But Johnny allways was a real one and met my protestantic, worker class heart.
Utrolig mye folk. Aldri sett så mye publikum på noen konsert uansett Artist.

Bob Wooton , Fluke, John and Grant at their very finest here. Great clip.

It’s Dave Roe here not Marshall Grant. So in other words, Wootton, Holland, Cash & ROE.

Where's other video gone? The full concert video has Bird on a Wire & Tennessee Stud and a few other songs - and all the parts inbetween songs where Johnny is talking to the crowd.

Wtf did he ask him about his mortality? What gives him the right to say, "you're not going to die Johnny are you?" to an ageing rock&roll legend?

Always get so annoyed with vanilla BBC interviewers past and present. EXCEPT ZANE LOWE THAT MAN IS A GOD!
