Elvis I have heard liked Johnny's impression of himself and he supposedly did a pretty good Johnny Cash impression. It was all in good fun, and both enjoyed each others music

That's the thing I love about Cash....Clearly such a good songwriter, activist, and singer but perhaps more than all of that such a good sense of humor in a man that had seen so much personal tragedy. Any job you ever do as human being you have to be able to laugh and enjoy fun or life will beat you on down to the ground. This is so funny and they were friends

Funny stuff. Love what Marshall Grant does with the comb at the end. This sort of comedy was commonplace in musical acts in the 50s.

That was so good. I just loved both of them !!! To bad we don’t have singers like that anymore. I know we’ve some great singers but just not the same. Johnny,Elvis,Michael Jackson & Prince. Let’s not forget Loretta Lynn. May they all R I P. THAT WAS A WONDERFUL ACT & FUNNY. 😂

Read Johnny’s biography recently, it referenced this TV appearance(mostly to talk about his fledgling pill habit, at the time) but he actually looks pretty damn well put-together & somewhat professional, especially considering all the worthwhile dang Rx drugs available in the 1940’s thru the 70’s. Says in the biography too he even blew out his back doing that one Elvis pelvis move or whatever lol Kick ass impression tho, shoot on, as is usually the case with J.C s. Too bad musicians can’t laugh at themselves More, or just people in general
