I believe Greensleeves folded when the Scientist (Hopeton Browne) claim to royalties (from one of the Grand Theft Auto games) went to court. Greensleeves claim was that Junjo sold them the rights and scientist was an engineer for hire on them recordings ( Junjo had passed away when this case came to courts). King Jammy’s had to testify is this case. I don’t remember all the details (I might be wrong) but I remember hearing about at the time. Another story I remember reading was Yami Bolo came to Greensleeves to collect his royalties for “Ransom” and “Jah made them All” only to find the royalties were signed off to Augustus Pablo without his knowledge. (Again I might be wrong, it was a long time ago that I read this, I read it maybe in Ray Hurford Small Axe magazines)

I think all the records companies are Rip off when it comes to artists who don’t know there rights??? And who can’t read and understand things in a contract. ?????
