Johnny Depp testified in his defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard that she did not like his close friendship with fellow actor and "Avengers" franchise star Paul Bettany. Depp said Heard did not like the attention Depp would pay to his friend and testified that she would often get in arguments with Bettany, including one argument involving Bettany's 18-year-old son. Depp said that Heard was so mean to the teenager, that she made him cry.

She doesn't understand how much damage she's done and still doing towards women. All this case is doing is showing men they can stand up to this sort of manipulating behaviour. And they are out there trust me. Been with someone VERY similar to this Amber Heard. Now she is ruined, her name shamed and no one goes near her. At least in my social group and surrounding area. Disgusting to think this Amber bich has a kid. At least if the kid grows up bad we know who to blame. I hope her career is in tatters after this.

Her eyes have been cold and lifeless throughout this entire trial, even during times when she was on the stand “crying”. And by contrast you can see how genuine Johnny has been, even in his silence his face has conveyed real pain as the details of his life have been laid bare for the world to see. He’s admitted to his flaws and open and honest about his upbringing. Not easy for a man. I hope he wins and justice is done. I hope we never hear of Amber Heard again after this.

True. All during Johnny’s testimony she sat looking very well put together, stoic, without any emotion whatsoever, always writing some thing as if to look important maybe? Then when she’s on the stand she’s all disheveled, no make up, being overly melodramatic. I had never heard of Amber heard until now but I wonder how she became such a great actress? I’m willing to bet that she wasn’t actually a great actress in her own right. As Johnny said, how do you think she got Aquaman sir.

Its lifeless because she has to stop herself from acting like she did in the 2016 leaked testimony. But sometimes you could see glimpses of it like when she started ranting about her ex assistant drinking on the job etc

It makes me want to reach out and slap her thru this phone. She conveys boredom. She's bored, looks extremely annoyed at times too. She's distancing herself from the proceedings. From this person they talking about. Yes lifeless soul. But times her anger or laughter ( when she covers her mouth with hand or finger you can see that in her eyes) that when there's life on, in her eyes, face. Johnny so much hurt my heart hurts so heavily for him.

She wrote an editorial for the Washington post saying that she has experienced domestic violence and urging Congress to reauthorize the violence against women act. She doesn't name Johnny Depp anywhere in that article. He decided to sue her for 50 million dollars in retribution. This is his second lawsuit he can't win. He's like well at least I can humiliate her. All of this being in the public is his doing. She walked away from a marriage with no prenup with her husband worth 100 million dollars with only seven million dollars. And he's been forcing her to spend all of that money defending herself in court since then. She says she was wrong too. He says it's 100 percent Amber's fault. Which of these positions is easier to defend? People use no common sense or clarity when looking at the most relevant facts. Ie the money.

I think he simply gave in to an impulse and his infatuation with amber heard...as a man I see others do it all the time. the girl everyone warned them about. @@EW-uw7dg you’d be surprised at what most addicts look like. Most of them look like any other regular person. In fact, a huge number of people you’ll see on a daily basis will have one addiction or another (caffeine, tobacco, alcohol, other drugs etc). Even many daily/intermittent *”hard”* drug users (such as Johnny) are quite high functioning and would give you quite the shock were they to reveal that they use at all!

@@stefdezy1562 I agree that many times addicts don’t look like a stereotype. I’m a gambling addict and for many years people couldn’t see that my life was falling apart behind the curtains. Whenever I was in public or catching up with friends, I tried as hard as I could to act like I usually do and no one really suspected anything. However, once my addiction was brought up, the act couldn’t be sustained anymore. You just kinda fall apart as your facade is called into question, and the pressure you feel whenever you’re alone starts to appear in front of everyone. It’s absolutely unbearable. Johnny has had his addictions addressed in the trial and he acted professionally and seemed like he’d owned that and moved on. Maybe not, but in my own experience, addicts don’t handle being called out the way he does.
@stefdezy1562
@stefdezy1562 2 жыл бұрын
@@BattleWarriar Absolutely agreed. However, perhaps the reason Johnny acts the way he does about his substance abuse being “outed” is due to him never *really* caring to hide it. I feel like he hid it strictly as much as he needed to for his career not to suffer, but as an individual, he doesn’t seem to care much about what others think of him. You’re right though, it’s not typical addict behaviour.

Amber exploited that in the most cruel way. My heart goes out to him,for real.... My mom died in 2013.... I'm just now feeling free of her energy.

Apparently, she thinks that she is a young, hot, super-intelligent person who can manipulate and walk all over other people. Look at the destruction that someone caused this man. His mom whom he loves and the woman he was married to, didn't love him. I have said it often to friends and family, when a person reaches their 40s, it's time to seek therapy to understand who they are and to separate what is truly theirs from the attitudes, behaviors, and thought processes that belong to someone else. I feel so sad for him because he probably thinks he is too old to find a true life companion. I'd suggest that he not be fooled by "the pretty" because that's what got him here in the first place. She's a brutal gold digger.

This is, or could be, a great revelation for culture about the misery of celebrity. Also, the anguish an abusive mother causes all of her children. Sons or daughters. I had a dear sweet uncle who had the most horrifying mother (my grandmother) and the choices he made to care for her, his entire life. What is so creepy is that he died first, his mother died a week later, and she was buried on top of my uncle in the same plot. OMG. What I find rather humorous during this proceeding is Ms. Heard's 'chosen wardrobe' - Puritanical, nun-ish, dark, ultra-conservative, complete opposite of fleshy move star/actress picture poses.
