For me, Johnny Depp is one of the most versatile actors of our time, but with a touch of frivolity characteristic of him in most roles. This makes his style unique and at the same time versatile for different characters. My favorite movies with him are of course the Pirates franchise, Edward Scissorhands, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Chocolate, Blow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, and I also remember him in Oliver Stone's brilliant film "Platoon". If you haven’t seen it watch, Benny and joon. It’s so heartbreakingly beautiful. Johnny was astounding in it. It’s my favourite Johnny movie, above all else. He pulls off the role with such believability, that you really feel he’s the character he’s acting. Plus he’s so sweet and innocent in it and terribly funny. Not to mention unbearably gorgeous. 😂

You should see him and Peter De Luis in 21 Jump Street where he plays the Mic Cane Brothers and Peter De Luis in high school sences he's so good and he has a natural talent too!! I see him and Peter De Luis in Vancouver BC Canada where I live and he's friendly and funny and cheeky too!

Well he sure called that one line right. I won't be in 6. Sadly during the filming of this one, his ex was trying to kill him. She stole so much not just from him but from the world. His acting was a gift she destroyed. There never has nor probably ever be another actor as versatile and into his characters like JD. It still as also a victim of a monster myself, makes me think of those recordings and want to cry. That he was dealing with all that and could still put his full self into his acting. There is NO pirates without him. End of story.

He was kicked out of fantastic beasts and cut from disney. not many wanted to hire him anymore. Hence the things he said as space man at the mtv awards. That he was available for anything. He was the top highest paid actor. Her lies Took that from him. And hes been pretty generous on not making her pay, not just for the loss of his career but all the money he's lost too. Gee wonder if she had anything to do with the missing $650 million he mysteriously lost during his marriage to her. Touring around with his old rocker friend was for fun and he had all that time on his hands.

Once an iconic role has been created by an actor, it belongs to that person. No one else can ever replace them - no one. Case in point, HELLBOY. Depp will forever be Captain Jack Sparrow. We will accept no else for that role.
