I’m 45, so I grew up watching him. Never once...did I ever see any allegations from previous girlfriends etc... it’s my experience that abusers follow a pattern. There’s no way this guy gets to be however old he is...then just suddenly..starts beating women. And I must live under a rock, because up until last month....I seriously never heard of Amber Heard....or however the heck her name is spelled. Most abusers tend to be high strung...granted there are those who are calm on the surface...but he just doesn’t fit the profile she’s portraying. This reminds of the Phil Hartman thing. Except he told nobody what was going on and his wife killed him. I think Mr. Depp got lucky. He dodged a bullet. Once court is over....file a restraining order against that nut and move on.

Nothing but love and respect for Johnny, Now he and I have something in common. We have both married and divorced a narcissist and sociopath who destroyed our careers -- for a while at least. Mine lasted 10 years and the mental toll of the lying, the gaslighting and cruelty were awful, but finding out how much of a monster he really was devastated me. I was in poor health. We had only been married about a year when I became very ill and by the time 3 different specialists were done hacking away at me, my life was never the same. I've been in pain 24/7 ever since. I offered to divorce him multiple times. I'd have never married anyone had I known how sick I was about to become. Even though I kept working and maintained a higher income than my husband as will as benefits, I felt like a failure as a wife. I couldn't get pregnant, there were times the pain was so bad I couldn't bear to be touched, and I told him, just tell me, and we can end this, just don't lie to me or cheat on me. And he dedicated himself to both pursuits our entire marriage. Any way, once I actually listened to the tapes, it was really triggering. The mocking cruelty to purposely drive him to react was so much like what my ex husband did to me it left me shaky, and out of breath. For her, she wanted a fist fight, for my ex, he would pick at me till he made me cry. I'd see it coming. Some days he just had a mean look. I think he has a permanent mean streak, he just doesn't always bother to hide it. And then he'd go at me over and over, and once I cried, it is impossible to describe. It's like people with a fetish, they need to hear glass break, or a joint pop or what ever gets them off, and then he'd be blissful, then force me into a hug and "forgive" me for starting a fight. Team Johnny all the way.

In the pic of him af Captain Jack and the little girl with the black and white headband on, while he was visiting w her in the hospital, she actually asked him "What happened to your finger?" he answered her that he got hurt and then said " Actually I ate it! I got so hungry I just bit it off" Now, knowing what really happened it's so sad to think that he was living in hell and Amber was the devil!
