Elaine was so disrespectful to those jurors. She insulted their intelligence and their integrity. She said they were confused, then said there’s no way they weren’t watching social media during the trial.

Not only disrespectful to the jury but to the court, the judge, and the justice system. One of the best comments from a lawyer said is that people that are willing to sit through a 7 week trial getting only $30 a day are people who believe in the justice system and take their oath to justice seriously.

If I was a jury member on this trail, i would be absolutely furious. The way Amber and her team just threw the entire jury under the bus and accused all of them of breaking their oath is disgusting and unfounded. This was the M.O. for the entire trial. Amber threw every single person in her life under the bus to avoid accountability, now Elaine is doing the same. Let's not forget, a witness for Johnny was thrown out cuz a friend of Amber's was using her phone during the trial and claimed that the witness was posting about the trial. It came out later in the week the witness' post was about the UK trial. The judge was furious and threw Amber's friend (a "journalist") out of the courtroom.

@@colin2974 the U.K. trial was massively flawed in many ways. It was decided by a judge rather than a jury, which makes any case much more susceptible to bias. The judge had a vested interest via family in the sun newspaper, and Amber Heard lied (again) about many things - in particular the donation she made with the money from the divorce. The judge wrongly took that at face value and it changed the outcome. This is apples and oranges, my friend. I’m from the U.K. and I am ashamed to see such a miscarriage of justice from our courts. Judgements hinging on one person’s perception at far less accurate than a jury of your peers.

@@alademisturah6957 But is there any proof of them actually disregarding their oath and watching external clips and content from social media or is it just an assumption without proof that they did what amber heard suggested. One thing to consider is the fact that they spent 7 weeks sitting in a courtroom listening to the case and what did they actually gain from this, as far as I know not one juror has talked with the media so they just wasted 7 weeks to break their oath seems far fetched to me, at the end of the day we need proof that they were influenced by outside elements and the fact that JDs team managed to bring up the current social media attention during the trial itself also doesn't help AHs claims either.

However this wasn't about money for Depp this was about his reputation and he had not intention of settling, and had the receipts to prove Amber Heard was lying. Heard's team had access to the same evidence but the evidence didn't show what Heard alleged happened no matter how you slice it, or turn the contrast up on a photo to show "bruising". On Good Morning America, Amber Heard's lawyer said "This is a setback for women all over" that is an Appeal to emotion or "argumentum ad passiones". Herself being a lawyer should understand very well the fact that the Law does and should always be held on a Case by Case basis. The idea of "Believe all women" at face value or any cultural bias should be irrelevant and similarly the results of this trial should not affect future trials. Only the facts should matter.

We might as well let all female plaintiffs automatically win and all female defendants automatically win with no trials. Why bother if we just blindly believe all women. If they're both women then we'll just let them both win and give everyone a trophy, everyone who's a woman that is. Ridiculous

Exactly! Why necessarily should a woman be believed over a man? They should not. Only facts should matter when deciding which side is telling the truth, and that's what our justice system is for.
