Good video. It's important for this message that the somewhat delusional hype of Fisher (especially after a weak Babic) needs to be put in perspective. He's got a long way to prove himself. The Babic win doesn't tell us a huge amount to be fair.

Fisher is British regional level at best. A ticket seller with a comedy (and i use that word loosely) fat man as his old man. A promoters dream while it lasts. He moves like an amateur and defends like one and he's not going to improve enough to beat anyone who is just good.

Christopher Lovejoy has called out Fisher. Lovejoy, of course, was supposed to fight Dave Allen back in 2020 on the Usyk-Chisora undercard. But the fight was pulled last minute after some Don King shenanigans. Lovejoy was knocked out inside two rounds by Charr, and has fought most of his career in Tijuana against journeymen. I like Fisher, and he's very honest about his own development. The post-fight presser is worth a watch.

yeah i agree with you - decent fighter with potential, but hes still quite raw, due to lack of experience - but hes got a good trainer in Mark Tibbs and hopefully he continues to learn and fight gradually better opposition... young Mike Tyson comparisons totally baffle me, they're very different.

Exactly he can learn from those type of fights. Even if he takes a loss many learn more from losses than wins. But best tk build him up gradually and see how far he can go. I'd be surprised if he goes that far to be honest, but we'll see.

Like the cut of his jib, he's very grounded and is realistic where he's at. He's with perfect trainer to be brought along gradually in Mark Tibbs.He's a relative baby in heavyweights and doing all the right things good luck to him.

best win is Harry Armstrong. Fisher is english level at the moment and there are plenty of good Brits for him to fight Nathan Gorman or Adeleye would be good tests.

I don't really see where Fisher is going? His 12 fights in and Hearn is still talking 3 fights away from a British Title? I don't follow the game as much as I used to but what's the competition at this stage? I'd like to see him fight either Chrisroa/Joyce winner in 1 or 2 fights time as there both spent forces at this point Bosh!

Put him against somebody of his size, maybe he gives you interesting fight. But yeah there is a bit too much hype.
