The Hot Wheels Room is changing! What better time then to explore my Johnny Lightning display of cars which has not seen a visit in far too long!

I like the fact that you have so opened the blisters to enjoy them!!! I always open them. If left in package, you are cheating yourself out of the enjoyment of them. In my opinion, the value isn't any less out of blister as long as they are cared for.

The projects in progress line look like a super set to collect, and the destruction derby cars. JL sure did make some fantastic cars

Whoa that is an awesome diecast car collection dude. I'm a collector myself too and I have a lot of Johnny Lighting M2 and Green Light as well because they're the most highly detailed car models of just about every decade and with cool authentic paint jobs and radical customizing as well. They are so realistic and especially designed for the adult collector like most of us. And that is primo to the extremo dude.

That looked like a rambler! My dad fell out the back of a rambler when he was 2. Luckily no one was behind the rambler. They were known to have faultee tail gates. The tail gate opened and he fell out. He was perfectly fine - not a scratch. Thumbs up for the video.

I think-more than anything-I realized how prolific JL really was when it came to their model line.(while watching your video.)

Crack them ALL. You know you want to!! ENJOY THEM. I bought a bunch of cars from a guy who had them sealed in their packages for years. I told him that I was going to open all of them up. He sadi "Can I open up one of them before you leave"? I said No you had you chance......It was a real Dick move on my part, I totally agree. But I was being truthful....Collect Cool Cars Not Cool Cardboard.....I know you will sleep better after you crack them and get to hold them and make sure the wheels turn all nice and smooth....hahah....Great collection and great video's.

@wtffor9 жыл бұрын
Hassan S.El-Boukhari I am very sorry to hear about the loss of most of your collection, it would be a most devastating thing when I imagine what it would be like. For me if such a thing happened I would feel like I lost a part of me. Good luck in rebuilding and finding peace in your country, I wish you the best. And thank you for watching my videos, and may it continue to bring you enjoyment. O-Dawg

So I knew Johnny Lightning first came out I believe in 1969 before any of the rest except for Hot Wheels and Matchbox not even sure a 69 was right but I knew it was Matchbox and Hotwheels than Johnny lightning and I knew the same company makes Johnny Lightning Auto World in Racing Champions but I did not know that it was the same designers that started and own green light it probably explains why my favorite cars are Greenlight Johnny lightning and then M2 anyway I'm watching this video and I was thinking to myself my kids have no idea how much money is in my collection what if they seen yours most people would have no idea how much cash is setting there haha for me I respect that you have to have so much time and effort into having all that it's to be admired in my opinion

I dig your johnny collection. What's up with their since of detail? I have two Buick grand nationals one silver no detail and one black totally detailed different scales? And a caddillac eldorado 67-70? Jacked up in the rear big tires. It's a front wheel drive car. I also like your johnny demo cars. Some one should mold them already smashed.

@justinjavellana9 жыл бұрын
Awesome collection man! What happened to Johnny Lightning? I'm relatively new to collecting so I don't know the history.
@wtffor9 жыл бұрын
Justin Javellana They basically changed corporate hands a few times, but the last change to the owners Tomy Toys proved fatal as Tomy turned a perfectly awesome adult collectible toy car line into cheap toy quality but at the same price as previously. That never bodes well with collectors, especially with M2 and Greenlight hot on their heels in the adult collectible market.

Yes, I built the junkyard. It was a very complex and time consuming process that took hours of research, two solid weeks of time to build, and hundreds of dollars in material sourced from all over the continent. LOL

Those johnny lighting do look good sitting there in a row. Did you build the junk yard? And if you did glow long did it take? Also what did you use to build it?
@wtffor9 жыл бұрын
I did build the junkyards, and it took me about a solid two weeks to do it. The best way to learn how to build a complex junkyard such as this one is to KZfaq "how to build a train diorama".
