This amazing song came on and I thought instantly that this would be my husbands last tribute to me. Well it doesn't end there, it continued to play intermitently all day long without my asking until my husband passed that evening . Thank you !

He's likely putting it on his upcoming album. Yes, a performance from August 13th was ear catching, but he put it in the style of his big ballads. How else would he do it, right? I'm a fan of Barry. In closure, Johnny Mathis has been tackling and crooning the greatest compositions of music for several decades. Johnny's version stands alone as the only version pop music enthusiasts need to hear. 🌹

Very beautiful and heartbreaking song, Mr Johnny! It reminds me of the last few hours of my partner before he left, he can no longer speak or move his body (final stage of brain cancer), he raised his left arm pointing to his lips as if asking me to kiss him one more time! I just hugged him tight and kissed him. A few hours later, he was gone. 😭😭😭

This must be the best song he’s ever recorded which is saying a lot because his body of work is dazzling. His voice and interpretation is simply incredible. I’ve loved him as long as I can remember.
