It's a language thing . The ref is french and i reckon that instead of using "don't worry" he says "don't be scared" because the 2 verbs are almost similar in french. It's just questions of approxymate synonyms.

Lots of saddos disrespecting JS in the comments section below. I hope they choke on his 100th Cap against Japan in a 60-5 win and then this weekend's unbelievable performance against the All Blacks, where he put his body on the line at the grand old age of 36. He has been brilliant for the Ireland Team and he's a highly intelligent player. He's bound to question referee decisions from time to time, what Captain doesn't but he's not rude or aggressive he just asks awkward questions of the officials when he feels it's appropriate.

Leave aside his inability to communicate effectively with Refs. The most important point to note is that he should never have been made captain by Farrell. His role as a No.10 in the Irish team is to organise his backs and provide feedback to the forwards and vice versa. By talking to the ref, never mind the arguing, his effectiveness as an organiser and leader of his players is reduced.

If he made his actions speak louder than his moaning, he is a passionate player when the Irish dominate, when they don't that's when he should step up and shut up. 🤫

It's become tiring watching Sexton play, he's like a grumpy child stomping around thinking he deserves some kind of special protection. Maybe he should team up with Biggar and start a justice for fly halves club. Sexton is so far past his best, his body is in pieces and his mentality is becoming embarrassing.

He's won WPOTY. How does someone who's not at the very least good win that award? Please do explain.

@@motorguru1997from the pool of players still playing now i’d rather have: Ford Farrell Marcus Smith Joe Simmonds Joey Carbery Finn Russell Ntamack Jalibert Carbonel Allan Garbisi Mcginty Mo’unga Barrett Mitch Hunt Josh Ioani Cooper Just to name a few. Sexton is so average. Lack of Irish 10’s is the only reason he was playing for so long

He's been a great player but he's no more than a cheat now... Always attempts to intimidate the ref and often can... ask O'Keefe... Pushed in the back and goes down holding his head in the last 6 nations against England was the final straw... The pundits never, never give him the stick that he deserves... The whole bum kissing of "top" players resembles "soccer"... Great sport being ruined...

Johnny's still the best flyhalf in the country. The generation after him never stepped up and now we have to wait for the next one after that. Harry Byrne and Ben Healy are our best hope but aren't we just lucky we have Johnny still competitive to bridge the gap.

@@barryduff7533 they’ve never been allowed to step up because of the crappy management over the years. So he’s gonna retire and we’ll be left with someone with like 16 caps to run the show. Yes he bridged a gap but now that gap is wider than ever

@@sophiekerr8964Haven't had chances? Carbery has shown glimpses while he wasn't injured. Carty simply isn't consistent. Ross Byrne just isn't international level and Billy Burns is English. The've had chances alright and Sexton's just been better.
