It pisses me off that Tony Wilson did so much for British punk and post punk bands but this short interview is the best he could do for Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers who was also on the Anarchy Tour with the Sex Pistols. The Damned & the Clash. If only he'd have filmed them live they'd have wiped the floor with most of the stuff he put on.

Back in the MySpace days I emailed Walter Lure and he replied and told me about a TV show they once did. He'd dyed his hair with food colouring. While smoking a fag ( uk slang for cigarrette) his hair caught fire. You can see it happening in this clip. I wish I'd asked him why they never played on the show. Maybe cos Jerry left the band after the release of LAMF cos he's nowhere to be seen and they were auditioning drummers before they settled on The Clash's ex drummer Terry Chimes?
