I would love it if the comedian/entertainer career got an update to be like more of the newer careers, where you can book gigs where your sim is performing. It would make that career feel so much more dynamic. Also, I definitely see Johnny's grandmother as like an old school comedian legend who loves supporting her grandson because she loves that he's an up and coming new comic. She's always front row at every open mic night and gig he does

maybe geoffry is his dad and he had a previous wife before nancy but nancy wouldnt let him stay after he became 16, his dad secretly gave him some cash and so johnny bought this trailer and got a part time job until he could support himself with his comedy.

I tend to give him and Malcolm a decent relationship, lol. And a neutral one with Geoffrey, because he doesn't hate his dad, but the man is a doormat to his mom, so definitely not that close. And a negative one with Nancy, like she's the one who kicked him out and his dad didn't try and fight it, just maybe tossed some money at him to help him.

Johnny Zest is definitely one of my top favorite townies. My sim self ended up with him and we had 3 kids. 😂 I also helped him get to the top of his career. It was a good life. 😊 loved this build and the story idea.

it's in his bio that he is Malcolm's brother, and I believe Comedy is included in the Entertainment career.

I’m a huge Disney fan so of course I downloaded the game! I will probably spend the whole day playing 🙈 I’m level 15 and have a Eeyore costume that is just the cutest thing ever!

I still have a really old save where his name is “Zest Johnny” still. I turned npc aging off for that save just to preserve him as Zest Johnny forever. I love that you fixed his trailer! I understand that the original is supposed to be kinda sad and low budget but it’s just ....dark and weird. I love your Reno.

I actually moved Johnny into the apartment across from Salim and they both have a makeover. They are friends with the Jang family living their hipster lives and it's so cute. I love this trailer makeover, it really looks great and maintains the style

This trailer looks so good, I love it! I would download it if my version of Johnny didn' leave his trailer behind a short while ago to build a little house with his wife Siobhan Fyres, because she (at leat in my opinion) hated the trailer life. But I really dig the grandma addition, it sounds really cute (and I agree, she would be Geoffrey's mom and Nancy would put her in a retirement home while Geoffrey has no say in the matter whatsoever). I made Johnny a Landgraab in the game by cheat and he reaaallly doesn't get along with his family, he, Nancy and Malcolm are enemies. Goeffrey doesn't mind him, they get along better, but not much, because Geoffrey is too easily influenced by his self-opinonated wife. He has a little sister in my save file, too, Sophie, and they get along, but she's beginning to fall under Nancy's thralls too.

Another youtuber who goes over the lore from previous Sims versions said Johnny is indeed Nancy and Geoffrey's kid, but he was disowned for some reason (his career choice?) And cut off from the Landgraab fortune and that's why he's living in a trailer in Oasis Springs. Nancy seems rhe type to disown people for not doing what she wants, so I'd buy that.

There are two types of people. People like Tanya who renovate the Zest trailer to give him a better living condition, and people like me who renovate it to make his living situation so much worse. Lol. I turned his home into a condemned trailer park. I love this so much, though!

I really love this build and the idea! I feel if you wanted to maybe come back on it and add on you could because if I’m not mistaken both Johnny’s mother and father come from wealthy families! I’m sure granny has some money! But wonderful build! 💖

Put a large window in front of the house and it's my home color and all. Though I have green grass and pretty flower gardens. But that is what a lot of Atlantic Canadians live in. :)

He looks more like Nancy than Geoffrey. I actually always assumed he was Nancy's brother and was swiftlly kicked out of home so she could inherit everything, or that he is in hiding from her because of her criminal pursuits (or perhaps is on the run himself, Geoffrey being an undercover detective setting Nancy up or as a double agent is a fun storyline too). I definitely think he grew up with the Landgraabs or at least got money from them, his house indicates to me that he swiftly had to leave home but he took some expensive and meaningful items with him. He's definitely more happy go lucky than the rest of them, so in the end I figured it was freeing.....but then, I also always marry him to either Judith or Cassandra, so there is that ambitious side in my games.

I believe he is DEFIITELY their son, because in my 100 baby challenge they are his parents, and the grandparents of his child on the family tree. So unless lilsimsie just changed that to be the case in her save file that I am playing in, then they are his parents.

the comedy career is definitely unrealistic because its not challenging. I mean you're basically guaranteed a gig everyday. you can't 'fail' like in real life. careers overall are way too easy in the sims 4 :(

You bring up an interesting point about Johnny's relation to Geoffrey and Nancy. Everyone just assumed that Johnny was their son, and it kinda became fact in the Sims 4 community. But technically it just says "disowned by the Landgraabs" but it doesn't say which Landgraabs. We all assumed it was Geoffrey, Nancy, and Malcolm since they're the only other Landgraabs in the game and their proximity to Johnny's trailer. But technically, no, it's not confirmed that Johnny is the son of Geoffrey and Nancy and the older brother to Malcolm
