Omg Carson is amazing, he is there present every single time Geller tries to weasel out of things. A guy like Geller is of course great at talking himself out of trouble when in difficult situations, but Carson is at every single turn there to meet him. He ridicules Geller elegantly, and you can see Geller desperate and very insecure. His tricks are not working, his talking is not working, he was absolutely owned by Carson for the whole 20 minutes.

Johnny did an excellent job of exposing this fraud. His friend, magician and psychic skeptic James Randi, instructed Johnny and his staff to not let Geller or his associates near the items on the table. As such, Geller was unable to manipulate the items prior to his spot. The appearance didn't destroy Geller's career, but it did cause it to fade from prominence.

I love the way the fraudster tries, however. He realises from the beginning that he's basically f...ed, to employ professional magician terminology. So he switches to choosing canisters that DON'T have the water, where he starts with a 9 out of 10 chance of being right, then 8 of 9, and 7 of 8. Meanwhile he's talking, doing shtick, filibustering, and practically begging Johnny to ask more questions, as he hopes to run out the clock. He also hits upon the idea of asking the other guest to take the canister Geller chooses. There is no intelligible reason other than to hope the guest will clumsily touch other cannisters, which he dare not do himself with the camera and Johnny right on him. That indeed happens, and of course Geller then makes a show of admonishing him to be careful, etc. But after getting lucky 3 times, Geller chickens out and switches to the spoon bs, while looking for an opportunity, no doubt, to give the table a little kick. I think he actually manages that at the third commercial break, but by this time he's ready to play out the clock.

@@rave2069 He's a magician who calls himself telepathic with special mental powers. That is fraud. Being a magician does not exonerate one automatically from the charge of being a fraud. There have been magicians who claimed to have mind-reading powers from Jesus, magicians who claimed to be miracle-workers, and so on. That makes them fraudsters. As for the way this fraudster was exposed, aww, poor him. Btw, I see you're a magician too, because of the way you make punctuation disappear in jumbled rambling.
