Me too. My name is John, feel like He is trying to encourage me to spread His message and truth in the world that I recently truly found. But I guess my faith is not there yet as I still am insecure and scared. Will pray for more strength, He has brought me so far, so quickly its been a miracle but I am still a little too weak.

You don't even need to tell them you know this or that, tell them about your faith and how Jesus saved you. There's a story of a woman who just got saved and wanted to immediately go out and spread his word, the pastors and those that where there in the church where worried she would be overwhelmed and warned her. She didn't care and went out telling everyone Jesus saved her and when they asked her how do you have faith when things keep happening in the world like this? Etc etc and she said well I don't know about all that but I do know that JESUS IS REAL AND HE SAVES ME FROM ALL MY WORRUES AND SINS.

It is a place of pitch darkness, fire, gloom, and torment beyond imagination. God is just, if you enter Hell it is because you deserve to go there. The punishment fits the crimes of sinning against a holy God. You ought to fear God since He has power to cast into Hell. But not just that, for many reasons. One being He is almighty and such power is overwhelming. The prophets fell down afraid when they seen God in His glory.

Im not of faith, but neither an atheist. I simply do not like Religion. But even I believe in a higher power. Call it God, call it Jesus or who ever it may be. The eternal wandering Judge Helias in the stars or Zeus and others. It does not matter. By the end, we stand before the one who watches over us. Who will judge us for our deeds and deem us worthy or unworthy. I am by no means a good person but I strife to be better any day than who I was yesterday. If I cannot forgive myself, whoever stands above us will likely not find themself to be able to forgive me either. All of us, for a lack of a better word, are sinners. None of us are free of it. We need to recognize it to move onwards to a better tomorow lest we fall into the abyss.

As sinners it would be irrational to be judged by ourselves. A sinner will create a D.I.Y legal system to exonerate ourselves of accountability. This carvery religious system has a fatal flaw in that you can never, if you are honest, achieve purity in the present or atone for the past which is where the pure blood of the Lamb that was shed on the cross comes in. You can't afford the ticket that Jesus has already bought and if offering you.

@@roxfoot Its not so much about buying myself a ticket to heaven if such truly does exist. (I was brought up in a christian household, do know that I am not speaking against its existance.) Its more so about wanting to be worthy of it. If one day I should truly stand infront of Heavens Gates as its told to exist, I want to be able to walk through its gates without worry or care instead of looking back at my past, filled with regret. if I cant look at myself in the mirror today and smile at having become a better person than who I was yesterday, I feel that no matter my belief I could not call myself worthy of such a gift. Worthy of being forgiven by others or even God for that matter. For a lack of a better way to put it, as a Sinner I must repent lest I myself will simply fall into this abyss of my own making. My personal Hell so to speak.

My late husband Jacob felt he could relate to Johnny Cash. He had been addicted to drugs and alcohol for a long time while being homeless and downtrodden himself. When God took hold of him, he ended up crawling up out of that deep darkness when the Lord intervened. That was when I met Jacob in church. We had been together almost four years when in January, Jacob lost his battle to Covid. He always told me that his body was worn out and he was ready to go see the Lord.

I see this song differently than a lot of the comments. It's a warning for people to change their evil ways. He's making it clear that one day God will come for us, and it's unavoidable. You cannot run from it so repent while you still can.

You are misconcepted by this presentation. HE was simply stating "God's gonna cut you down." To these certain forms of celebrities, & sinners. Celebrities show their satanic symbols, the hands forming a triangle. The one eye symbolism meaning; turning a blind eye to child trafficking and pedophilia, adrenochrome. The musicality of this is subversive to a music theroy nerd like me. |1 -3 1 -3| drone |1 -3 -7 1| end of verse. the whole song (give or take). It is devastating because of the groove. People who know the references in the lyrics are going to think this is a dis track. It was an encouragement to aspiration. This song is so succinct and efficient. This is a truely legendary craftsman. I might even say that it was the "Greatest Song in The World" that we only have a tribute for.
