One of the most inspirational songs, and such a huge crowd...but I still have to say my favorite version is the one where they had 1000 eighteen-year-olds singing live with them. After all, the song is aimed at teens and twenties, it's so moving!

I had the privilege to see them in concert at a small house of blues venue. It was nothing short of spiritual. I’ve never cried at a rock concert, but by the end of their set I was balling. Just as much energy in that small venue as there in the dome!

Everyone should start there ONE OK ROCK journey with "The Beginning". Taka recently mentioned in an interview that they won't be making anymore pop rock songs and that they're making rock like before the Ambitions albums. They just uploaded a live performance of Make it out Alive that you should check out, it's absurdly good.

One ok Rock always made pop-rock songs, in the same album than The Beginning, there is Clock Strikes and The Same As..., for exemple

@@yamasuunoI'd say that the songs you listed are more soft rock than pop rock. When they made Ambitions they changed their sound quite a bit, making the album mostly pop rock. They wanted the album to appeal more towards the West, so they decided to go the pop rock route because at the time Taka said that rock was nearly dead in the US. The reason that Taka said that they're done with pop was because it was kind of boring performing those kinds of songs.

One of my favorite OOR songs!!! It still kills me that Taka started out in the industry training as a pop idol. His incredible voice would have been wasted in J-pop. He was meant for ROCK.

John, I strongly recommend you watch their performance of this at the 18Fest with 1000 young people singing with them. It is one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had.

John, you need to heave Taka’s voice in Wherever you Are Ambitions tour. It’s a fan favorite but the band plays different instruments in a more intimate way with Taka’s excellent voice it’s just beautiful but it has to be regular Ambitions tour version. Take care

*Since you're going to meet them...just so you know....westerners call them One Ok Rock but truth is they are really called One O' Krock (as similar to 1 o'clock but with a little rrrrr when you pronounce Krock) Then you won't look ignorant to them. lol*

Hey John, 4 days ago (Nov 14th) Taka and his younger brother Hiro (MY FIRST STORY) held the "VS" concert at Tokyo Dome. There is one song they sing together, namely 'Nobody's Home' (OOR).
