I just cut or snap their nodes then put it in a garden soil. Then after a few weeks it has roots already 😉 easy to grow.

I too live in north India. Summers are really hard,even in varandhas and balconies these couldn't survive. More than summers it is early monsoon which is fatal.

Thanks for your reply, I want to share my insight/observation why my lush begonia's leaves becomes smaller and smaller until it dies, it's mainly because of the temperature. I brought my plant from highland wherein the temperature is cooler, so in the lowland the temperature is hot ( 30-35 degrees ) there are certain begonias requires a certain ideal temperature, if goes beyond that, begonia's leaves becomes smaller and smaller and later dies so I saved others by putting in a cooler places while the weather is so hot. Then after the hot spell is gone, I bring them out again.

Hello Please help to save my begonia! I've changed the pot then I placed the plant outside. Big mistake! The plant braches became brownish and sort of translucid. I've cut the healthiest branch and put it in water. Now, after almost 2 weeks, half is brown-black with mold on the area at the surface of the water. Clearly, is dying! Shall I put it in soil?
