In Canada’s Rocky Mountains, we hike Johnston Canyon - the most popular hiking trail in Banff National Park. The trail takes us through a narrow gorge with catwalks and waterfalls with many spectacular views - on this this Alberta, Canda 4K travel video. Both directions of the trail are captured with a beautiful change in perspective and lighting. The journey up is experienced in the morning with much of the creek in the shade. The Upper Falls and trek back is just before noon as the sun was more overhead and lighting up the creek with beautiful shades of green.
Video was captured on June 6, 2023 on a Sony FX30 camera, 4K 60P, S-Cinetone (with Color Phase +2 for more natural look), with a Sony E 15mm F1.4 G lens. Scenes with zoom were captured on my older Sony FDR-AX43, and clip up close to Lower Falls with heavy spray, I used my cell phone.
