This is going to be very helpful to me when I start decorating my journal life put together following one of your other journals. I usually put my pockets on first but now you have inspired me to paint and splatter and even stencil Pages before I do pockets. I'm late this week 🙈sorry! Love the menu analogy. Aww I loved Thumbelina when I was little. The border you've done mirrors the illustrations nicely. Dishwasher tablets are also good for cleaning stubborn things, especially the power ball one. Lol I'd like to get you at an easel with me, I know you'd love it! Love your journal and how you shared the process this was a great video as well as helpful, I made sure to take a screen shot so I can apply these ideas when making journals. Some I have done but not in the order you shared it seemed much easier in your tutorial follow sometimes I'm all over the place which I think make me take longer than it should not unless it's a gator mouth journal which are my favorites to make. Love using my paints from stationary pal to make my painted packaging papers. Thanks for sharing. ):

My problem is I have too many ideas so I don't know where to start 😂. I'm definitely thinking about making a journal using some Christmas wrapping paper, cards and tags. So I can preserve the memory of Christmas. But also buying the colouring book to use it's which to start with 😂. I think I'll play around with some paint and just make some pages and a cover and go from there.

Aaah, I think that is an old Anna Griffin stamp that I bought from QVC a very long time ago 🤭💜

Great question...it varies. Sometimes I don't because I just want the freedom, to feel like I can add anything, sometimes I focus on what I know about the person who is going to use the journal. ❤️❤️

@@joiedefi My problem is I can make a junk journal all day long but then I don't know how to decorate the pages really. I mean I can do simple collage but some of these women's journal page's are so full & glorious. I want to do that but I don't know how to start I need some direction

I forgot to say, the envelope groove wooden tool is from a small local craft store. There is occasionally one on Etsy but I'm afraid I don't know of a regular supplier. ❤️

Thanks Joie I've been journaling for years and branched out to art journaling and now I find Junk Journaling my new obsession, I only started last week. I made this Junk journal today with bits I have already, old calendars and fabulous books I only found today at thrift shops Thank so much, your videos are fabulous and a little addictive in them selves 😁😍 it's all such fun therapy
