My local yarn shop, A Good Yarn in Sarasota, FL recommended your videos:) I can see why! So easy to understand for a crocheter who is adding some knitting to her hobby list:) Thank you!

Thanks so much for this video! I'm working on my first ever project and all the other videos I saw were far too complicated. I would rather just weave in ends than do all sorts of complicated things. Thanks again for helping!

Thank you so much for this video. This is the simplest way to join yarn that I've found so far. Others aren't necessarily difficult, but why complicate your life? This is so easy!

I came on here to see if there's any other way to join yarn besides how I do it. Turns out you join yarn EXACTLY the same way I do. Lol. Well I guess I'll just have little bow ties on the end of my rows till the cows come home :) Happy Knitting

This is a great video for a beginner. But, I have an only knit project on - a scarf. Unfortunately, I don't have a wrong side to weave in stuff. So, what does one do in such a case where both sides are the right side.

very easy. thanks

You would still follow the path of a piece of yarn to weave it into the fabric.

I slip the first stitch of my rows, so does that mean I should try to add the color at the last stitch of the row if I'm using contrasting colors? Say, for a striped scarf? I hope my question is understandable. I never see anyone add a color on a slipped stitch, so I can't figure out how to do it. Maybe I'll just go over that stitch in the new color when I weave in the ends. Because I want my stripes to be evenly across. But I tend to start on the second stitch because of my slipped stitch edge.

+LadySteph You can't add a color in a slipped stitch - it will always be in the old color since it is not worked. Add the new color in the next stitch.

Knit Purl Hunter I thought I should add the new color on the second stitch in. I wanted to be sure that I was using the best method I could. That's a relief. Thank you so much! I was told not to alternate colors if I'm using a selvage edge. But I only like the look of the chain. So I couldn't imagine that should mean I must knit with one color always. Thank you again for answering my question
