Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). I'm pumped! And the timing is perfect. Start just on the day after my vacation. And the best part, i have time to finish my own play-thru of XCOM EW and maybe.... just maybe also WOTC. 😁 Watching you, playing XCOM is always a blast. And when playing on my own campaigns i sometimes wonder why there is no odd commentary. So sometimes when i think about the way to cope with the mission i hear your voice in my head: "Okay, how are we gonna approach this..." Keep up the spirit and thanks for many years of entertainment.

I dunno if I'll end up submitting an actual soldier as I love watching everyone's elses creativity, what I'm super looking forward to with the campaign ahead is having a list of mods that I know aren't terribly broken, tried to play a few campaigns over the last year and some thing as insanely broken. This is going to be amazing.

Anyone in the community experimented with enemy replacer mods, like getting specific characters from a pool to show up in mocx? I hear there’s a way to do that for normal mobs too, since someone did it for a Star Wars themed screencap.

We leave Ruler armor and other potential armors (Civilian disguises from Covert Infiltration for example) to the uniforms. There's limited options for those armors even with this mod list and it allows for easy distinction on who's wearing that armor. You couldn't really create good looks for those armors anyways with the mod list, that being said your color choices and neck-up options will probably carry over to those armors.

I would love to see another X-Com eneny within " LONG WAR " play thou. I always love those old game play thous . It just happens to be one of my all time favorite but it must contain the Long war. Been enjoying your XCOM content! Dunno if I'll follow your XCOM 2 game. X2 had better gameplay, but there's something about X:EW that keeps bringing me back. Might be the tense claustrophobic atmosphere.

The only real problem I have with "Chosen" campaign's is how fast their counter advances, it sure feels like it's only "3 months" before they are knocking on your front door and you have to go destroy their houses... of course when you do, you "finally" get to research their weps...

I'm not a super-geek when it comes to the mod handling and alt Mod Launcher, so I have a question / suggestion: I'm running a campaign using a set of mods. I'd love to submit a soldier, but I don't want to just blow away the mods I have (and that work!) I don't think AML Profiles help here, because I'm uninstalling all mods, not just switching between sets of installed mods. I can manually back up the mod folder, is this it: C:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\? I'd suggest going over this in the video (too late for that), or adding a section to the video description.

I'd recommend making a Steam collection of your current mods so that you can easily uninstall and reinstall later. That's what I do for several games (L4D2, XCOM2, Project Zombiod, etc). It's fairly easy and you can keep them unlisted to share with friends and not the public or private then all together. Never have had Steam itself mess with them.

It's for people hard of hearing or deaf, otherwise for people with shorter attention spans and stuff like that. There's no reason NOT to have the subtitles when they help highlight important information.
