In this video, we demonstrated the complete procedure for joining two single-mode #OFC (Optical Fibre Cable) used in #indianrailways as a set of 24 #ofc, through the #fusion #Splicing technique using #splicingmachine. The Various processes involved are stripping the primary layer of Fibre, Cleaning the gel with #isopropylalcohol solution, Cleaving to cut fibre perpendicularly, joining and then putting the sleeve as the primary coating.
